If anyone needs OF help, I'm willing to deal. I could use some infield, pitching, or future picks.

Just to stay in my original spot, which was so rudely taken from me:
I trade my 1st and 5th rd pick to AFF for his 1st rd pick.
It's all for you Schwar-Machine!

I'm inclined to agree. I understand wanting Bogearts and Pedroia with Rockets being a Sox fan and all, but sheesh.

Gotta give a first year owner the chance to remake his team the way he wants long term.

I also remember when I caught all kinds of grief from some in the league for giving up WAY too much in this deal from 2012: I have Hamilton back on my roster - anyone want him?

Gotta give a first year owner the chance to remake his team the way he wants long term. Go look at Bwanna's team. I honestly feel like I have no shot to win this league despite having a good team myself. Obviously Bwanna deserves a lot of credit for assembling such a fantastic team but when I see trades like this, it makes me want to bail from this league. And I am not one to give up easily...

Although I understand this line of thinking - this is what happens in dynasty leagues. A team always emerges as the favorite, and with no roster turnover, that team become a...well...dynasty. So for me, it should have less to do with which team gets the best end of a deal and more to do with the players being dealt and the rationale. But still, the fact that Bwanna gets two top 20 players for bench guys and late picks is hard to ignore. Rockets is taking over for a team that was last in the league in 2014, and is obviously in rebuilding mode. However, giving up two top 20 players (one being only 24, the other 29) for a declining 2B (who's 31) just inside the top 100, Bogaerts (going just inside the top 200 in redrafts) and some back end picks (considering where Bwanna is likely to finish) to achieve that goal makes no sense to me.

Yeah, I was just voicing my frustration. You obviously did a better job describing what I meant by "trades like this." Bwanna has 3 of the top 5 SP's and now 7 out of the top 22 (which is insane). He also has a bunch of the top offensive players, including several young guys who would be ideal for a rebuilding team. This trade is extremely lopsided and makes absolutely no sense, even for a first year squad in a rebuilding mode!

That trade is crap. Rocket's getting hosed. Bwanna's team is stupidly overpowering. But there's nothing you can legitimately do about it...
