Can't believe I watched his shut out in person.
I don't remember exactly, but FOX posted a graphic near the end of the game.
Madison World Series ERA: 0.43 Rest of Giants starters: over 9
He won it by himself.

Bumgarner absolutely insane. No player has ever won a World Series more single-handedly. Randy Johnson, 2001 IP 17.1 K 19 ER 2 Bumgarner, 2014 IP 21 K 17 ER 1 I didn't expect the IP gap to be so dramatic, but I guess that's basically the difference in their final RP appearances. This is the exact comparison I used explaining this WS to my wife.

As disappointing as it is to see the Giants win, it's great to see the Giants' best player, Panik Attack, get a ring in his first season. Guy could probably be mayor of my town if he started campaigning right now, and would be elected next week. Also, Bumgarner's performance is essentially the reason you watch sports. The guy appeared super human, and the tension was amazing, seeing if he could just continue his dominance, which he did not disappoint.
All that being said, I may be somewhat hesitant to draft him in fantasy last year, after logging almost 240 IP this year.

He pitched 270 IP -- 270! -- this year. As amazing as he is, he feels like a stayaway.

They're having a big ticker tape parade in my town for Panik Attack.
