Wow! Well, now the only thing the White Sox needs to buy are bats to score some runs around Abreu. 13th best offense and they have added LaRoche. And the Shark to fill a black hole in the rotation with Robertson at closer. I don't like how they do it (rebuild/retool) but it can work. And they will almost certainly be better than my Twins that have a stacked farm system but very little production from it so far.

I still think they need more bats. 13th best meant that Dunn was on the team before his trade, so LaRoche just nullifies that and keeps them at 13th or so. They can beat the Twins with that, but they did that last year anyway. I am not sure that a new arm and closer will get them past three other teams, never mind deep enough into the playoffs. Regardless, based on where they finished it is good to see the White Sox make strong efforts to improve the team. I feel like they have to do a little more.
