NEW 2016 LEAGUE SETTINGS
MILB
-Drop milb to 2 players except current rosters are grandfathered in
-Once milb player graduates you can keep them for three seasons after their graduation season (ex kris Bryant (who graduated this season) I would be able to keep for three years until he counts as a regular keeper, his keeper clock wouldn't begin until 2019 season)
-you can only have a max of 2 milb players on your roster at all times (ex if you trade for another milb player you have to drop someone from your roster)
-you can only add milb players through the milb draft each year or by trade (no more demoting which will take care of the issue we had this week)
-current keepers/milb qualified players are also grandfathered for example mookie betts who graduated last season and was kept this season will have two more years before he counts as one of your regular MLB keepers
-until the grandfathering is over the max milb keepers that you can have is going to be 5. We will lower this to 3 in three years. Example in 2019 if I have 5 guys that qualify for save status then I have to drop two of them or move them to my regular MLB keepers
MLB
-drop MLB keepers to three players starting in 2016
-keepers can only be kept for three years until they're thrown back into draft (ex If I keep Evan longoria this year and I keep him two more years he has to be thrown back in for the 2019 draft)
-trades don't restart the three year clock they must be thrown back in on the same schedule
-players move up 5 slots each year they're kept. For example if someone was undrafted and kept and then they are kept the following year they would cost a 19th round pick. If someone is drafted in round 10 and kept and then kept the following year then they will count as a 5th round pick
