Below are the prospect selections from our recent Dynasty Prospect Draft. All minor league prospects were available as long as they were not in the Yahoo database. This is not necessarily the draft order of players as there were some holdovers from the prior year. Which team had the best draft? Worst? Safest? Most potential? Etc.
Team A: Yoan Moncada (Bos - 2B), Miguel Castro (Tor - SP), Ryne Stanek (TB - SP)
Team B: Gilbert Lara (Mil - 3B), Clint Coulter (Mil - C,OF), Derek Fisher (Hou - OF)
Team C: Nomar Mazara (Tex - OF), Eloy Jimenez (ChC - OF), Rafael Devers (Bos - 3B)
Team D: Spencer Adams (ChW - SP), Brett Phillips (Hou - OF), Ryan McMahon (Col - 3B)
Team E: Grant Holmes (LAD - SP), Trea Turner (SD - SS), Richie Shaffer (TB - 3B)
Team F: Gabriel Guerrero (Sea - OF), Renato Nunez (Oak - 3B), Trayce Thompson (ChW - OF)
Team G: Tyler Beede (SF - SP), Courtney Hawkins (ChW - OF), Tyrone Taylor (Mil - OF)
Team H: Rob Kaminsky (Stl - SP), Austin Wilson (Sea - OF), Dorssys Paulino (Cle - SS)
Team I: Joe Ross (Was - SP), Jacob Gatewood (Mil - SS), Lewis Brinson (Tex - OF)
Team J: Alex "Chi Chi" Gonzalez (Tex - RHP), Ozhaino Albies (Atl - SS), Jorge Mateo (NYY - SS)
Team K: Reynaldo Lopez (Was - SP), Justin Williams (TB - OF), Alex Verdugo (LAD - OF)
Team L: Franklin Barreto (Oak - SS), Mitch Nay (Tor - 3B), Adam Walker (Min - OF)

I would say both Team A and Team C did ok, with a nod to Team C simply because they have Mazara as well as Devers, who profile as big upside guys. Moncada will be a beast no matter where he plays, but it could be 3 years before he makes an imprint in Boston.
Team E did a decent job as well, with Turner probably the starter next year in WAS and Holmes becoming the next SP in LA that does well.

Pretty hard to say there any winners or losers when almost all these guys are 2-4 years away. That said, I would choose team A since it has the only consensus top 10 prospect on the list in Moncada (btw how was he available for this when hes been in Yahoos database for a while now?)

Moncada was added after we started drafting so the team that drafted him had to add him to their active roster before the season began. That same team also had to add Castro as he broke ST with the Blue Jays.
