SBs are kinda plentiful but so often that speed burner weighs you down with a .230 BA. Noot good.
Alas...we have two guys in ST who bring some attention. CHISOX 2B seems to have won the 2B job and is a blazer. But the As have a kid named Billy Burns who steals more than Johnson but doesn't have a full-time job in Oaktown.
Watch these guys. And Dalton Pompey, too.

Chisox 2B? Is this a codename that I should know? And yeah, those burners are hard to pass up. It's sort of like having to consider Greg Vaughn some years ago for home runs and home runs only, knowing your batting average would absolutely tank. As for minor league speedsters, Mallex Smith tore up 80 bases last year but doesn't get a lot of chatter. I imagine he may be like Joey Gathright in that he'll steal, but they won't let him play full time. Are there any elite speedsters that wouldn't hurt many categories these days?

EY Jr! The Braves OF is horrible. Young should be a regular. If he can get to around 400 PA's he's fast enough to steal 30-40 bags.
Jose Peraza (recently optioned) is another if EY Jr fails. The Braves had him taking some fly balls in the OF this spring too. He'll have 2B eligibility and is faster than Micah Johnson.
Terrance Gore could be up again at some point this season too. That kid is crazy fast. He just needs to learn how to hit. =)

Interesting choice going historical and bringing up Greg Vaugn. probably coulda just said Chris Carter and illustrated your point in a fashion that the youngsters around here would understand as well... I heard the reds have some guy named Bill that is pretty quick.

Ah crap, I dated myself and the young'uns have lowered their ball cap rims over their eyes. I guess Vaughn is still etched in my mind as that gag reflex pick in the draft. Indeed, Carter is a fine comparison.

He would mainly be a replacement if Dyson gets hurt (Dyson will likely steal 30+ with about 300 PA 200 of which being bunts).
