Mike Trout finally gets his and Kershaw manages to be so good that nobody cares he missed the first month of the season.

Anyone else think playoffs should count for awards voting. If it's for the most valuable or best pitcher or whatever shouldn't the entire season year count?
Either way, no real surprises this year. Kluber out of nowhere really, Idon't think anyone had him at that good this year.

I think players that get into the playoffs usually get a bump anyways in voter's minds.

Why should you penalize players for being on shitty teams? In my mind most valuable means best overall, and that should be regardless of whether or not the team makes the playoffs.
