I have both in a keeper and would like to deal one. I offered Bogaerts for Polanco or Alex Wood in seperate deals. I have proposed a Reyes for Cespedes deal. Been offered Weiters, Wil Myers or Holliday for Bogaerts but didn't feel like it was enough.
I could use an OF or SP. Am I shooting too high or low?

While reading I thought the deals were just right, especially for Polanco. Wood would also be a very solid choice, so I think either would be good long term. As for Reyes, a guy with some injury history (and getting older with the legs) for a guy who has some solid power that maaaay improve or may not, is a pretty good deal for what you need. Either one or both makes a good trade for you if you can do it.

I think that you have him valued appropriately. Bogaerts for Polanco is interesting. That could go either way. I like Polanco more.
I like the idea of targeting Myers too, but not at that cost. I would be wary of Wood. While the results have been amazing, mechanically, he is very unusual. He also had his last start skipped due to the dreaded forearm tightness. I'd want to see him in spring before I target him.

How many keepers per team? I love Bogaerts long term, but his cost would either have to be near the min in auction format, or in one of the last few rounds in a snake. Thats assuming 8 or fewer keepers. If you keep like half your roster I suppose gambling on a player like Bogaerts is a good idea even if there are no costs and its just keep your top X number of players.
FWIW I own Polanco in 2 keeper leagues and there is no way I would consider moving him for Bogaerts. In one of the leagues (12 team, keep 8) Im actually keeping Polanco and cutting Bogaerts and they have the same exact cost. So if you can get either Polanco or Wood that would be very good return for you imo, but I really doubt many owners still value him that highly after a pretty dreadful year. (In my experience most fantasy owners put zero stock in age related to performance)
If you are focused on this year, I think either Myers or Holiday is a fair return.
Reyes should get you more than Bogaerts does even considering age and injury history.

14 keepers. I was able to trade Bogaerts for Cespedes.
