Hey fellas...my league has 2 new teams coming in this season and we have decided to open up our keepers to them to build their own set of keepers for this 2015 season. So here are the paticulars...5x5 roto(standard)$260.00...AL only we keep 4 players each season and last year I made 3 blockbusters to aquire my 4 but now I am going to loose one...so here it is
trout...$40
sale...$29
altuve...$29
Donaldson...$27
So if you had to loose 1 player, who would it be and why....thanks fellas..

Drop the pitcher.
I would think those 3 hitters are all first round type talent in AL only.

Altuve, really got lucky, won't repeat
Had a .360 babip, inflating his avg and sb
most think he returns to .300 35-40 sb
give me the other 3, who i see dominating more

Altuve, really got lucky, won't repeat Had a .360 babip, inflating his avg and sb most think he returns to .300 35-40 sb give me the other 3, who i see dominating more I was thinking the same thing....see once a new team takes a player from me I get to pull back 1 player and because I made tons of trades for this season my next best is gardner....So I am thinking about dropping altuve and keeping Donaldson along with trout and sale....too me steals is the easiest to replace...I hate to loose anybody but 30/100 3B are just not out there...but I am just 1 escobar away from replacing the lost steals....thanks fellas |

So I got an offer for trout in this league....The team wants to give me A.jones, kluber his 4th and 5th rounders for trout and my 7th and 8th...What do you guys think of this?....I am not sure this does much for my keepers, but having sale and kluber in a AL only league does make me happy....lol....But jesus, I just traded for trout last season at the deadline and I am always a win now guy, is this enough? Now remember this is a AL only league 10 teamer, we all keep 4 players so essentially the 4th and 5th round isn't gonna be that great, decent but not good, and the 7th and 8th will be that much worse....thanks. |

No, keep Trout.
Why do you want to keep 2 pitchers out of 4 keepers?
I agree exposing Altuve in the expansion draft. Steals are easy to replace. An ace like Sale is awesome in an AL only league.

With Sale missing at least 3 weeks to start the year I would be even more inclined to let him walk.
When you only get 4 keepers, gambling on a guy who is already hurt might not be the move imo.
