first of all, can the text area back ground be white? i dont mind the blue and white, i just have a hard time believing you went with blue. but yeah, i'll admit it. my teams suck, and its the first time in years where i lost all focus with a month to go. Their collapse did coincide with me downloading OOTP15, so i'll go ahead and blame it on that. Well that and losing Goldschmidt. so every team is in the tank ... and sadly ... im ahead of many of you! HA!

I had 2 teams this year, both are atrocious. First one had keepers of Carlos Gonzalez, Paul Goldschmidt, Miguel Cabrera, Jason Kipnis, Dustin Pedroia, and Stephen Strasburg aka I assumed they would dominate once again. They sucked and didn't make playoffs. My other team had Chris Davis, David Wright, Josh Hamilton, Hanley Ramirez so despite getting Abreu and Dee Gordon for free, they also suck and now I'm trying to covertly tank for a better draft slot next year.
Ugh, there's always next year.

I finished 1st and 4th in my two leagues. I also second somehow getting a light (gray?) background, with a darker text, either black or navy.

Definitely too many leagues this year, coinciding with a real-life that has been crazy busy. Still, at least I'll finish above wr in the NL-only

One thing a year off has done is remove my biases. I was "biasing" myself into a corner the last couple of seasons. I had a tainted view of too many players and I was missing out.
Highly recommend a year off, bit harder to do for you American guys where it's all over every media. The only pitch I've seen all season is Adam Dunn's first HR for the A's, obvious I couldn't miss that (Dunn on the A's has been a unfulfilled dream of mine)

I'm only in two leagues, Masters and J35J's H2H money league. First, my H2H team was depressingly bad. I was happy loading up on hitters that were inexplicably left on the board (Cano, Beltre, Pujols, Trumbo, Bruce) while scooping on pitchers who figured to do reasonably well (Hamels, Minor, Cashner, Bailey). Suffice it to say, that team was in the cellar since day one and I don't recalling that team winning a single week. Players kept dropping like flies and I had too many players that regressed or underperformed in a big way. I've had terrible H2H seasons before but that was the suckiest season of suck that ever did suck. With that omnishambles out of the way... BLOOD! DEATH! WAR! RUMPY-PUMPY! TRIUMPH! 1. The Artful Dodger - 134 2. Pogo - 100.5 3. Redhopeful - 97 4. twistedude - 93 5. wrveres - 92.5 6. daullaz - 91 7. ironman - 88.5 8. Kaiser - 85 9. Thracken - 79.5 10. rookies and cream - 72.5 11. Chris8 - 63.5 12. rjforlife - 62.5 13. Mookie - 55.5 14. jackie hayes - 44.5 15. Third Day - 40.5 Unofficial as of now, as I'm owed an extra half-point on the BA tiebreaker.

I'm sad to get booted from Masters yet again. I wanted to stay up for at least one season.
But I did at least win my other league. Which others insisted on making a money league, so that's kinda nice.
And hello. I gotta say, a whole Mets Fail subforum is nothing short of inspired.

Ended up 2nd in my 14 team roto (Guy in first put up 125 out of a possible 140 points) and 4th in my 12 team h2h with friends. Injuries were not kind to me in the h2h and my team was basically decimated by the time playoffs started.

I finished 3rd, 4th and 7th in my 3 leagues. Just missed out on the last playoff spot in the league I finished in 7th, and teams 4-7 were only separated by a few games.

The Noobs league sucked. My draft was awful and I still finished 4th. I did get lucky with 3 waiver wire closers though.
I made the 8 team playoff in my 24 team dynasty but was promptly bounced. Not totally unexpected since half of my team was on the DL.
I don't think I have ever won a league before. I also don't play against scrubs to pad my win total.
I'm probably going to do a fantasy basketball team this since I have started following basketball again and can actually name several players on each team.

I pretty much didn't play fantasy this year...and I had 2 teams. I might have looked at them both maybe 10 times all year. I just had no motivation whatsoever this year, or last year for that matter....even with my $$ league...just didn't care. I think spending all off-season working on the spreadsheet completely kills my interest once the season rolls around. I'm more interested in my spreadsheet and the off-season stuff than the regular season so I'll probably do my spreadsheet again but not even have a fantasy team next year...we'll see.

I stopped doing exhaustive research a few years ago. It had to do with a lifestyle change (time commitments) and I wasn't even sure if I was going to keep playing fantasy baseball. Now I start researching 1-2 weeks before the draft and enjoy it. One caveat is that my favorite league is a 24 tm dynasty where my roster overflowith with talent. I have done some good tweaking recently (added Stanton) but my team was built 5 years ago. Not sure if I will even bother to add a 3rd league past the cafeholics leagues.

I finished in fifth and fourth in my leagues this year. Complete bummer of a year. Every decision I made was wrong. I also played a scoresheet league for the first time and missed the playoffs. I spent far too much time at this site: Pennant Wars. wrveres did the free trial, not sure if he signed up for seasons. (Nolan actually did add the Advanced stats that you wanted, wrveres.) It is still a pretty new site, and the site owner continues to make changes. To me it is like OOTP, but with an easier to use multiplayer and a nice community much like the Cafe.

Won my 2 money leagues and finished third in a 20 team H2H after dominating the regular season. Best year in a while.

It is still a pretty new site, and the site owner continues to make changes. To me it is like OOTP, but with an easier to use multiplayer and a nice community much like the Cafe. no i didnt sign up. there was no depth to the game at all, imo. once you got everything setup, you only had to spend about five minutes a day checking box scores. I finished like 30 games over .500, and took the team to division one. All with my best bat on the dl. Just FYI, i made my ballpark massive. Think Petco, with Oaklands foul ground. and then i built a team to win there, not caring about the road. I finished just under .500 on the road, but dominated at home. defense and "movement" for pitchers seemed to be the key. The site owner has a long way to go till he can conceivably charge 40 bucks a year, yet he is already raising prices to cover his costs. there is no depth at all. i could never find a way to see split stats while setting my lineup, and i could go on and on, as you saw. so no, i didnt re-up, and i wouldn't recommend anybody buying it. try the free trial though, click garfs link, so he gets credit. it may be your thing.
