Why not allow bidding immediately once a nomination has been made? (I know we can't change that now.) In the slow league I was in last year the rule was you could not bid on a player on any given day (nominations were daily) until you posted a nomination for that day - maybe it's something to look at for next year Cheers So, there's a timing issue there when everyone is trying to bid with very little money left, which is why we have the 24-hour window, and you can't post players any earlier than 24 hours before bidding can start. For example, if 2 of us have $1 left to spend on one roster spot, and we're both after the same guy, then it goes to whoever posts him first. A similar situation with the bidding start time - I have $3 left with 2 rosters spots to fill. I suspect another guy with the same situation wants the player I just posted. Neither of us can up the bid to $2 for a player we posted or they posted, until the exact time that bidding is allowed.
