Big game 1 for KC. Not really expected to win it but if we do that sets them up very nicely the rest of the way.

Yeah, mostly true...but past Weaver LA doesn't have a ton(I know they don't need a ton with that offense, but)...and past Vargas we get to our big 3.

I am at odds as whether to root for the Royals because they're such a good story or root against them so as to not validate anything Ned Yost does.

I think the Royals are the trendy favorite (not to win but to cheer for) this postseason. I don't have much interest in the other teams. And I will cheer for anybody playing against the Dodgers and Tigers. Please don't let this be the world series. I could live without the giants advancing also.
I expect to be banned for inappropriate use of words.
