why are we posting rosters, with people stating "Not Final"? What are our options at this point, before the rookie draft?

I activated espn . Players in red for each owner in minor league rosters in spreadsheet no longer qualify to minor leagues and must be called be on 40 man rster if wanted to be kept . You may have to end up cuttinG players to do this.
I will Email those owners that aren't in so far . Someone givd me the email addresses of this who are replacements and they could very well have a spot.

Here is the link to the spreadsheet with complete milb rosters. Let me know if there are any issues in accessing it. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qTlEKb2VBF0gGONqSYhzoo5tsZzciGH9LweSZG23Ntw/edit?usp=docslist_apiI will see if the commish can sticky this in the message board on the espn league page. As the commish mentioned players in red are no longer qualified for the farm and must be added to the mlb 40 man roster or cut. This may require some owners needing to trim their current 40 man roster to make room. We will have a 5 round snake draft for minor league eligible players starting with the last place team. i.e. team that finished in 14th place has 1st pick, 13th place has 2nd pick, etc. We will carry over the league constitution from the old board. It will be posted soon. The commish will figure out the draft start date once all remaining managers bave been finalized. League has been activated so please sign in.

Is the minor league eligible draft a snake or just straight? Most leagues have the draft order as a straight draft otherwise the worst team would pick 1.01 and then 2.14 and 3.01

Just curious where to find the rules for this league? Wondering why Ezequiel Carrera no longer qualifies for Minors status? He only had 69 AB's and signed minor league deal with Toronto. What disqualified him?
Also, at what point do we need to get down to 40 players on our active roster?

-CAN TRADE DRAFT PICKS
DL: 4 Position Eligibility: Determined by Yahoo! Roster changes: Daily In-season can't cut list: None
Roster Freeze Date Final rosters due each year: March 1
Farm Roster: Size: Unlimited Eligibility: Must meet MLB rookie requirements (< or = 150 AB; < or = 50 IP) at the beginning of each season
Minor League Draft When: Held before each season beginning on the second Monday in February Length: 5 rounds (10 rounds in Season 1) Order: Snake in order of worst to first of regular season standings Draft picks are allowed to be traded, but no supplemental picks will be given at the end of the draft for traded picks
In-Season Farm Pickups Each owner has 5 MiLB 'pickups' that they may use during the current season. Pickups may be traded. Players must be added via the regular Yahoo add/drop procedures, i.e., they must be in the Yahoo database before they can be picked up (the Yahoo league setting for 'New Players Become Available' is 'Wait until called up to Majors'). Players must be rookie-eligible when they are picked up (< or = 150 AB; < or = 50 IP). Pick ups must be announced after they are dropped (demoted), and before they clear waivers. Example announcement: "Using my #2 pick, sending Strasburg to the farm"
Farm Movement A farm player may be promoted as soon as he is available in the Yahoo database by adding him to your active roster and (if necessary) dropping or demoting another player. A farm player can be demoted to an owner's farm by simply dropping him via Yahoo add/drop -- no announcement is necessary. A farm player may be promoted and demoted for the entire season if he was on a farm roster to begin the season, or was acquired via an in-season farm pick.
1. Players eligible for the MLB portion of the draft are those players listed on the 40 man roster as of Dec. 27, 2013. mlb.com will be the site used as reference. 2. If a player is on the 40 man roster as of Dec 27, 2013 but is not taken during the MLB draft and they are below 150 ABs or 50 IP, they will still qualify for the MiLB draft. 3. If a player has surpassed either 150 ABs or 50 IPs before the season begins, he is no longer eligible for the MiLB draft. Cuban/Japanese signees follow the same rules: If they are on the 40 man roster, they qualify for the MLB draft. If they are below 150 ABs or 50 IPs, they also qualify for the MiLB draft. 4. Free agents or unsigned players not currently on the 40 man roster by Dec 27, 2013 can still be drafted in the MLB draft provided it is well known that he is not a prospect (for example: Nelson Cruz, Masahiro Tanaka). This will be at the discretion of the Commissioner. 5. Prospects (below 150 ABs or 50 IP) drafted in the MLB draft i.e. those who are on the 40 man roster as of Dec 27, 2013, are no longer eligible to be sent down to the managers farm team. He must either be kept on the MLB roster or dropped. If dropped, that player will be available for other managers to pick up and place on their MLB roster only. 6. A prospect may be called up to a managers' MLB team and sent down as many times during the season even if the player goes over the 150AB/50IP limit during the year. Once a player exceeds the limits they must be kept on the MLB roster or dropped before the roster submission deadline date the following season. 7. Each manager will have a 12hr window in which to make their pick. The clock starts once the manager picking before them has made their selection. If the 12hr window has been exceeded the ext manager can make their pick. The manager who missed their selection make their pick at any time.

Minor League Draft When: Held before each season beginning on the second Monday in February Length: 5 rounds (10 rounds in Season 1) Order: Snake in order of worst to first of regular season standings Draft picks are allowed to be traded, but no supplemental picks will be given at the end of the draft for traded picks Was wondering if the intent was for a snake draft for this and future years? I understand for the first season when it was reversed from the MLB draft but now it seems like the worst teams would/should always pick at the top of each of the five rounds. I have never been in an MiLB draft (baseball) or a rookie draft (football) where the order did not remain the same in each round.
Also, do we have a list of any trades that were made that involved 2015 draft picks. I am pretty sure I have the Slouths 3rd rounder from the Daniel Murphy deal but I was not sure if there were other deals that impacted picks as well.
